The Mercury Avator 7.5 is an innovative new electric outboard motor that is ideal for a variety of small boats, tenders, and as secondary power on sailboats. This electric outboard delivers similar speed and acceleration performance to a 3.5hp internal combustion outboard. This model features a movable tiller handle that is comfortable to use and can be folded down when not in use. The 1kWh lithium-ion battery quickly connects into the unit with no required cable connections. The advanced display allows you to monitor your battery level and range while you quietly cruise the waters.

Based on Mercury's testing, the Avator 7.5 electric outboard can run full throttle for 60 minutes or 5 miles on a single charge. The whisper quiet motor offers ultra smooth performance allowing you to enjoy the beauty of nature. The 7.5e outboard is four times as quiet as a conventional 2.5hp four stroke outboard at full throttle. Mercury has engineered the Avator propulsion system for optimal efficiency. The batteries can be easily swapped out to increase your range and are able to be charged on a standard home outlet.

Mercury is transforming the boating experience with the Avator producing no exhaust fumes and zero direct emissions. Constructed using corrosion-preventative materials and coatings this electric outboard can be used in both fresh and saltwater environments. The Avator is convenient to store at home or a larger vessel thanks to using no fuel and producing no fumes. The quick-connect bracket enhances portability and makes tiller model installation a breeze. During hard accelerations, the system automatically activates boost mode to output 20% more torque.

Quick-Connect Battery

With no cables to connect, the 1kWh lithium-ion battery is easy to slide into place under the outboards flip-up top cowl. This makes it easy to bring a spare battery along and swap it into place in just seconds.

Multi-Purpose Tiller Handle

The tiller handle adjusts up down, left or right for comfortable steering in any position with either hand. When not in use the handle folds down into a convenient carrying handle.

Transverse Flux Motor

The transverse flux motor provides quick acceleration by generating high torque with little effort. This efficient design allows you to enjoy long fun days out on the water.

High-Efficiency Prop

The Avator prop is constructed from a impact-resistant high strength material. A three blade design is helps extend battery life by being optimized for efficiency.

SmartCraft Connect

By installing the Mercury SmartCraft Connect module you can remotely monitor your Avator electric outboard straight from your phone.

Avator Displays

The built in vivid full color Avator display makes it easy to monitor your battery level, power, alerts, remaining runtime, and more. Tiller models feature this display integrated straight into the outboard itself.
