This vented battery box is constructed of polypropylene for total acid resistance. The included 40" hold down strap can resist 350 lbs. of force, which is nearly four times the USCG requirement. Additionally, Attwood battery boxes are drop tested in temperatures ranging from -20°F to +120°F.
Meets ABYC standard E-10 and U.S. Coast Guard Specification Number 183.420 as an OEM-installed battery hold-down system.
