This Garelick boat seat pedestal features a positive pin lock and can adjust from 12" to 17". The pin type height lock allows you to raise and lower the pedestal to best fit your needs. A anodized finish helps provide a layer of protection from saltwater corrosion and marine weathering. The satin finish on this seat pedestal will help spruce up the appearance of any boat!

Boat Seat Base Installation Instructions

1. Attach Swivel Casting to seat bottom
1. For EEZ-In seats with Pre-drilled T-nutted holes
1. Align  holes in both swivel casting and seat bottom. Secure in position with four 1/4-20x1" machine screws
2. For seats without T-nutted holes
1. Center the swivel casting on seat bottom. Mark and rill the four hols for the swivel on the seat. Use an expansion type fastener (i.e. expansion screw anchor, etc.) best suited for boat seat's construction to secure swivel casting top seat
3. Note: fasteners NOT provided
2. Grease the inside of the swivel casting
3. Screw in the locking knob
4. Secure the seat base to the boat deck. This area should be adequately reinforced. Use a backing plate if necessary to make a secure attachment
5. Place seat with swivel casting on stanchion tube and secure in position with locking knob
6. Polish aluminum to extend longevity
