Build great memories on the water with Magma’s completely redesigned Newport II Classic Gourmet Series Gas Grill. This finely crafted grill features a beautiful, elegant design with no sharp edges and glass viewing window. Equipped with a new combustion system and electronic pulse ignition system, the Newport II Infrared will perform in the most difficult and windy conditions. Designed for marine use, the Newport II Infrared Grill is constructed of 100% 18-9 mirror-polished, marine-grade stainless steel. The Anti-Flare Infrared technology produces an intense, evenly distributed heat that reduces flare-ups and immediately emulsifies drippings, giving your meat a great smoky flavor. This grill also comes with a swiveling control valve/regulator that allows for quick and safe fuel canister exchanges. Additionally, this grill can be adapted to existing on-board low pressure propane (LPG) or natural gas (CNG) fuel systems.
Why use an Infrared Grill? Infrared technology transfers heat waves at the speed of light to the food's outside surface to allow the barbecue to sear the outside but keep the inside moist. Infrared radiation, emitted by a super-heated ceramic or stainless steel plate, heats the food directly. As the moisture inside heats up, it cooks internally using convection, but without drying, since the outside is sealed. Heat is uniformly distributed across the cooking surface and that temperatures reach over 500 °C (900 °F), allowing you to sear items quickly.

Magma offers the most advanced and versatile mounting options for marine grills on the market. Standard duty mounts are designed for use while anchored or moored. Although standard duty mounts are strong, they should be stowed while underway. If you intend to grill while underway, pick up a Magma heavy duty mount. All mounts for the Newport II Infrared grill are sold separately.
