      Mercury Avator Electric outboard: The Next Step Forward

Available in a portable tiller configuration or with remote throttle controls, the outboard can be paired with a variety of small boats, including jon boats, inflatables and small fishing boats, or as secondary power on a sailboat. It makes going boating easy.

      Just slide the quick-connect battery in place, turn it on and you’re on your way. With advanced lithium-ion battery technology and a powerful electric motor, you’ll enjoy smooth, quiet, efficient performance.  (Required controls, displays and electrical harnesses sold separately.)

      Industry-first technology with a high-performance prop

      Featuring the unique transverse flux motor, this electric outboard motor puts out high torque with little effort. Sitting on a hydrodynamic lower unit, the ultra-efficient prop carves through the water with ease. Mercury enables the use of this outboard engine in fresh and saltwater environments by using corrosion resistant materials and coatings.

      Advanced lithium-ion quick connect & modular batteries

      The 48V modular lithium-ion battery are portable and easy to use. These efficient power sources keep you moving and can be easily charged using a standard household outlet. The chargers monitor the voltage to deliver an effective charge you can monitor with the smart LED indicators. The toolless connections make these batteries a breeze to use.

      Easy to Install and Adjust

      A quick connect mount allows the tiller outboards to snap in or out of the transom bracket in seconds. This outboard can easily be stored at home thanks to the lack of fuel and fumes. Make one-handed tilt adjustments with the ratcheting quick tilt system. All models of the Avator electric outboard engine feature a motor cutoff safety lanyard.

      Intuitive Steering Controls

      All Avator models features a tiller and remote control option. The advanced tiller is adjustable so anyone can confidently take the helm. Four different vertical and three lateral positions can be easily adjusted with no required tools for comfortable steering. When not in use the tiller can fold down to become a convenient carrying handle.

      For Console's digital controls deliver instant throttle response with no delay. These remote throttle controls come in three options so your controls are always within reach. A top console mount is ideal for center-console vessels. While the panel mount control comes in both a traditional and reversed version.

      Advanced Digital Displays

      Packed with technology, the advanced digital displays let you monitor and control your Avator. The vivid full color display lets you see speed, battery level, remaining run time, distance to empty, power output, and alerts. Tiller models feature a display integrated directly into the Outboard. For remote control models, a display comes in both a pedestal and flush mount options.

      Control it all from your phone with the SmartCraft connect and Mercury Marine App. This free app lets you enjoy basic functionality and a library of tutorials straight from your phone. Pre-installed on Avator 20e and 35e models, the SmartCraft connect module can be easily installed on a Avator 7.5e.

      Avator 7.5e Outboard Engine

      The Avator 7.5e electric outboard boasts a 1 mile runtime with a max range of 5 miles when full throttle. Similar in performance to a 3.5hp gas outboard, the 7.5e is ideal for small boats, tenders, and as secondary power on sailboats. The batteries are easy to swap and require no tools to change. Simply pop in a spare and continue cruising the waters.

      All models feature multiple charger options. A 110W charger comes included with the Avator 7.5e and can charge a completely dead battery in ~9 hours. Pick up the 230W charger and cut that time down to just ~4 hours.

      Avator 20e/35e Outboard Engines

      The Avator 20e features acceleration similar to a 5HP four-stroke while the 35e is comparable to a 9.9HP four-stroke. These models allow you to connect up to four 2300Wh batteries for the ideal range and runtime. These batteries are run through a central hub that distributes power throughout the entire system.

      The integrated charging port lets you charge up to four batteries at once. The 230W charger is default on the 20E & 35E models for dead to 100% charging in ~10 hours. Grab a 520W charger and supercharge your battery in ~4.5 hours.
