Sea Hawk AF33 Bottom Paint is easily applied by brush, roller, or spray. When rolling, use only a high-quality short nap 3/8” roller cover. Apply using thin coats. For the smoothest possible finish, thin the paint approximately 10% using Sea Hawk 2053. Sea Hawk AF33 has a tendency for settling to occur, especially if the paint has been on the shelf for several months. Thoroughly mix the paint before using. Before using, check the sides and bottom of the can to make sure all the pigment has been mixed in.
Surface Preparation and Application
Paint only clean, dry surfaces. Remove all grease, oil, wax, or other foreign material. Be sure to apply in good weather when air and surface temperatures are above 50°F. For optimum application properties, bring material to 70-80°F temperature range prior to mixing and application.
